Second Chance Financing is AVAILABLE!

What Type of Stuff Makes You a "Sub-Prime" Customer?

  • Limited Credit (Haven't quite established yourself yet. Early on if you haven't borrowed money yet-Banks don't know if you can pay it back yet. You have to start somewhere. You might be considered a Higher-Risk!)
  • Bankruptcy (Must be discharged)
  • Judgments (Must be discharged)
  • Consolidation Loans/Credit Counseling
  • Collections (Gym Memberships, Cell Phone Companies, Utility Bills)
  • Lates (Cell Phones, Utilities Bills, Mortgage Payments, Installment Loan Lates)
  • Maxed Credit (Multiple Revolving/High Limits) - We are not just talking 1- $3000 Maxed Credit Card. MULTIPLE.
  • Repossessions (Vehicles/Houses given back to the dealership or bank)
  • Credit Shopping (Going to all the dealerships around the city and applying for credit everywhere)
  • Divorce, Car Accidents, Bad Luck (We know there are some things you can't exactly help. and sometimes they wreck your previously half-decent credit.)
  • Credit Score below 600 (There are many factors on your score and sometimes being below this doesn't mean you are "Sub-Prime" Each person is different.)
  • Type of Credit Inquiries (Sometimes when you are a "Prime" Customer, simply inquiring at "Sub-Prime" businesses can affect your score more than you think.)

Somethings You Should Consider When Your Shopping for a Boat or Trailer:

  • You have to be employed (Even if it's only been a few weeks & Employment Insurance or CERB isn't considered an income)
  • You should be shopping for something under $50,000 (GST Included) This amount is also determined by your gross income.
  • If you are a Homeowner it helps (but, is not required)
  • You have to make at least $3600/month (Less is okay. Just might determine how much you can spend on an RV)
  • The bank may require cash down (Keep that in mind.. They may want to see a commitment).
  • The lender has to assess each credit profile and determine how big of a risk you are. They do this with "Prime" lending too.
  • Depending on Credit Profiles... The Lender may choose to GPS the unit.
  • Before we get to work on your credit application we will ask you for a deposit. Less-than-perfect credit takes a little more work and time. Before we take too much of our time, we want to know that you are serious. Of course, once a credit decision is returned whether it's an Approval or a Decline your deposit WILL be returned. We promise.

Please keep in mind as much as we would love to get everyone out camping, each credit profile is unique and we might not be able to approve you. Doesn't mean it won't happen just maybe not that time. Sometimes you have to be patient and it will happen. Just give it time!

If we get you approved and the terms/payments are too high we can always look at a cheaper trailer too :).
